Community - Artistry - Education

Our Mission

Since 1994, Indian River Symphonic Association (IRSA) has brought world-class music to Vero Beach for the cultural enrichment, education and enjoyment of the community. Founded as a 501 3C organization, IRSA has hosted 54 orchestras from 19 countries, both national and international, and we look forward to bringing more outstanding performances to our area in 2025. Next season, our audiences will be privileged to hear the artistry of Grammy award winning violinist Hilary Hahn, playing with The National Symphony Orchestra, the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra conducted by Stephanie Deneve, and Daniel Hope, violinist and conductor of the Polish Chamber Orchestra of Sinofia Varsovia. These orchestras will bring to Indian River County the finest of conductors, soloists and musicians who will, through symphonic performance, enhance the cultural landscape of our region.

Our Outreach

Education is also a major part of our mission as reflected in our commitment to local area students and schools. Since 1998, IRSA has annually presented Children’s Concerts to over 1100 5th graders in Indian River County and provided scholarship support for aspiring young musicians.

Our Goals

As a non-profit arts organization, we are proud to have achieved so much for our community, yet an extensive base of financial support locally, regionally, and nationally is essential if we are to maintain our creative and organizational goals. Annual orchestra fees average from $50,000-$150,000 per orchestra and operations and contract costs are rapidly increasing. Further, our community outreach programs require funding each year at increasing levels. Ticket sales alone do not cover our nearly $500,000 annual expenditures nor enable us to expand our programming in an effort to further enrich and excite others through superior classical music. Having the involvement of Corporate Sponsors is a valuable means of helping us maintain our current level of artistic achievement and pursue programming that is regionally unique, nationally appealing, and sustainable in size and scope.

Your Opportunity

IRSA concert sponsorships offer a unique opportunity to display a company’s business capabilities to a discerning, well-educated, upscale audience. In the sophisticated environment of the concert hall venue of the Community Church of Vero Beach, corporate sponsors are recognized as active, viable supporters of the arts and contributors to the preservation of inspiring, creative endeavors essential to a meaningful way of life.

We hope you will consider being a part of our legacy.

Special Giving Opportunities

Children’s Concert Sponsor ($25,000)

IRSA maintains its strong commitment to local area students through its popular Children’s Concert. Under the direction of Maestro Chris Confessore, the Brevard Symphony does a marvelous job of introducing over 1100 fifth graders each year to the wonders of symphony music.

Scholarship Sponsor ($20,000)

Throughout Indian River County, there are many aspiring young musicians who are in need of funds for musical training as school arts budgets are cut. IRSA is proud to assist these students through support for individual music lessons, workshops and performance opportunities.
